Be part of an inaugural trailblazing volunteer experience in Thailand for 10 days Feb. 27-Mar.10/2012 or Mar 12-21/2012.
This is a small group (7-10 people), exclusively tailored travel experience for the intrepid traveller who wants to see, experience, help, meet, support Thais in their schools, businesses and community organizations.
You will not only visit the sights of Bangkok, Ayutthaya and Lop Buri, but be able to make a difference in flood ravaged areas by participating in this unique travel adventure.
Escorted by Michael Charles, an educator (formerly of York University and University of Toronto) who has lived in Thailand for several years, you will be see Thailand not just as a tourist, but as a benefactor to the Thai nation.

Here is the proposed itinerary.

Arrival in Bangkok
Transfer to selected hotel in Sukhumvit or similar area
Meeting and orientation
Dinner at hotel
Day 2 (B/L/D)
Sightseeing in Bangkok- Grand Palace and environs
After lunch, visit to Payathai Babies' Home ( an orphanage) which houses
-children who are abandoned in hospitals or public places
-orphans or children of poverty stricken families and broken homes
-children living under unsuitable conditions or homeless
dinner in Bangkok restaurant
Day 3 (B/L/D)
Visit to elementary schools for 4-hour sessions
Meet Thai teachers
Lunch with Thai teachers
-return to hotel and free time
or arrangement for individual program/cultural events
Dinner at restaurant
Day 4 Ayutthaya (B/L/D)

check out from hotel
transfer to Ayutthaya (Ancient city and World Heritage Site)
